His kindness and understanding and the fact that he walks around, checking in, makes Steward one of the best places I have ever worked.Steward Health Care Network (SHCN) takes pride in its community-based care model, which drives value-added tools and services to our communities, patients, physicians, and hospitals across the continuum of care. Not only thanks to Steward but to our CEO Andy who has always made us feel this is the place to work. I felt that working for Steward I could take all the time I needed to make the patient and families experience as positive as possible. At the end of it all the family hugged me and thanked me for being there and helping them through the process. I spent so much time before the procedure explaining what was going to happen and to set their mind at ease that we had wonderful Radiologist and staff and that I would be with them throughout the procedure. The patient and family where very upset and nervous. For example, I had a patient who was recently diagnosed with an abnormal CT and required the patient to come back for a biopsy. I can truly say I feel empowered to take the time I need to spend with my patients. I love my team at Steward Health Care because we are a family and we care about each other.
